The longevity pens: CellDetox and Everlong, and what is really inside them

Senolytics, exosomes, NAD+, glutathione, resveratrol — the two most advanced formulations in our catalog, ingredient by ingredient, with the research that supports each one and the research that does not exist yet.

CellDetox (Fisetin & MUSE MSC Exosomes) – 3mlCellDetox (Fisetin & MUSE MSC Exosomes) – 3ml

Two products sit at the top of our longevity shelf, and they are the most ambitious formulations Nordic Peptides make: CellDetox and Everlong. (The simpler tier below them — Endurance, GlutaMB and the single antioxidants — is a page of its own, and its trial record is the less flattering of the two.) Both are pre-mixed 3 ml pens, both stack several actives that are usually sold one at a time, and both are bought by people who have already worked through the single-compound end of this category.

This is the ingredient-by-ingredient version — what is in each pen, what the published work supports, and where the honest gaps are.

CellDetox: a senolytic and an exosome payload

The manufacturer’s composition, printed on the product page: fisetin 10 mg and 30 billion exosomes from MUSE MSC stem cells, in a 3 ml pen of 300 units. Their framing is senescent-cell clearance — the “zombie cells” that accumulate with age, stay metabolically active, stop working properly and emit inflammatory signals into the tissue around them.

Fisetin is the part with a real paper behind it. In 2018 a team from the University of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic screened ten flavonoids for senolytic activity and published the result in EBioMedicine: fisetin was the most potent of the ten. Acute or intermittent treatment of progeroid and aged mice reduced senescence markers across multiple tissues, and chronic administration late in life improved tissue homeostasis, suppressed age-related pathology and extended median and maximum lifespan. The authors also tested human tissue — adipose explants — and found senotherapeutic activity there too.

That is an unusually strong result for anything in this catalog. It is also, precisely stated, a mouse lifespan result with a human-tissue extension — not a clinical outcome trial in people. Fisetin is now in early human studies; the finished answers are not in yet.

The exosome half has no equivalent file. Mesenchymal stem-cell exosomes are one of the most active areas in regenerative research and one of the least settled: no approved product, no published outcome trial that would justify a number on this page. What we can tell you is exactly what the manufacturer states is in the pen, which is what we do.

If you want the strongest single compound in the pen on its own terms, that is fisetin, and CellDetox is the only way we carry it.

Everlong: the antioxidant and NAD side

Everlong’s composition, again from the maker: glutathione 600 mg, resveratrol 500 mg, NAD+ 100 mg in a 1200 mg / 3 ml pen. Three of the most-discussed molecules in the longevity conversation, pre-mixed in one cartridge instead of assembled from three.

Here is the part you will not read on most shops selling this category:

“NAD” is three different molecules wearing one marketing word. NAD+ is the coenzyme itself. NMN is a direct precursor. Nicotinamide is vitamin B3, further upstream and much cheaper. They are not interchangeable, and the coenzyme is not efficiently taken up intact by cells — which is exactly why human research administers precursors rather than NAD+ itself.

The human trial in this field tested a precursor. Yoshino et al., Science 2021: postmenopausal women with prediabetes, oral NMN 250 mg/day for 10 weeks, randomised and placebo-controlled. Muscle insulin sensitivity improved — roughly a 25% increase in muscle glucose disposal. Body weight, blood pressure, lipids and liver fat did not significantly change. One small trial, one precursor, one dose, one population, ten weeks, and a metabolic endpoint rather than an ageing one. Our full write-up is here.

So if the NAD pathway is your actual interest, the molecule with the trial behind it is NMN, and we sell it as NMN 1500 mg/3 ml. If you want the combined antioxidant formulation, Everlong is the pen — and its glutathione and resveratrol content is the reason people buy it, not the NAD line.

Why these two sell despite being our highest-ticket pens

Three or four actives in one cartridge. Buying fisetin, exosomes, glutathione, resveratrol and an NAD component separately means five products, five storage decisions and five deliveries. These are two pens.

Pre-mixed, factory-filled, no reconstitution. Multi-component formulations are exactly where home mixing goes wrong — and the measured error gap between pens and syringes is not small.

Priced below the manufacturer’s own European retail, like everything else here, and delivered on one flat fee per order.

And they are honestly labelled. Every ingredient and quantity above comes from the manufacturer’s published composition, printed on the product page in full. Nobody in this category does that consistently, which is why “proprietary blend” is such a common phrase.

The limits, stated plainly

Nothing in either pen has an approval anywhere. The lifespan result is in mice. The NAD trial is one study on a different molecule from the one in the Everlong formula. The exosome component has no outcome data at all. And no trial has tested either finished formulation as sold.

If that paragraph makes the products less attractive, we would rather lose the sale than write the version without it — the entire research desk exists on that basis.
